For most sellers, that’s through the File Exchange Tool. All sales on Half.com are processed as usual. You will be notified through Half.com and paid by direct deposit to your bank account twice each month. Your eBay Express exposure will be managed on Half.comWhen you opt-in to sell on eBay Express, your Half.com listings will show up in eBay Express. If you make any changes to your Half.com listings, the changes will be reflected automatically on eBay Express. This means any price changes, new listings, deleted listings, etc. will show up in both Half.com and eBay Express. Your eBay Express sales will be recorded in My eBayWhen a shopper purchases your Half.com listing on eBay Express, the transaction shows up in My eBay. It will not be reflected in your Half account. Payments for your eBay Express sales are deposited immediately into your PayPal account. To help you manage your inventory, your My eBay selling record, including the File Exchange tool, now has two additional fields to show where your inventory was listed and sold so you can clearly identify Half.com inventory sold on eBay Express. Your seller fees will NOT increase because you list on both Half.com and eBay ExpressFor Half.com listings that sell on eBay Express, you are charged a PayPal fee and an eBay Express Final Value Fee. These fees total the same amount as fees charged for Half.com listings that sell on Half.com (see example below). PLUS – your fees may be even lower if you’re eligible for discounted PayPal Merchant Rates (visit www.paypal.com for details about Merchant Programs).

* Calculated at the base PayPal rate (2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). Your fees may be as low as 1.9% + 30¢ per transaction based on your monthly PayPal volume. Your eBay Express Final Value Fee is the difference between the fees charged for Half.com listings that sell on Half.com and base PayPal fees (2.9% + 30c per transaction). These fees total the same amount as fees charged for Half.com listings that sell on Half.com when you are paying the base PayPal rates. These fees may total less than the amount charged for Half.com listings that sell on Half.com if you are entitled to a lower PayPal rate because your eBay Express FVF is still calculated as the difference between the Half.com fees and the base PayPal fees.
Listing your Half.com inventory on eBay Express can increase your exposure and potentially increase your sales. There is no additional cost associated with listing your inventory on both platforms. To participate, simply meet eBay Express eligibility qualifications, and opt-in. |
