Half.com will pay a fixed shipping reimbursement for all sales in the Books, Music, Movies, Video Games and Game Systems product categories. Click here to see the shipping reimbursements.
A Seller's account balance is determined by the following calculation:
(Selling price of items sold - Half.com commission) + shipping reimbursement - applicable charges
All sellers must sign up to be paid via direct deposit using a checking account. It is a sellers responsibility to keep their direct deposit information current and up to date. Savings accounts are not supported for direct deposit.
Payment by Direct Deposit
Payments by direct deposit will be paid twice monthly. Payment periods will end on the 15th and last day of each month. Your seller account balance at the end of each period will be deposited in your personal checking account approximately 7 business days from the end of the period. For example, if your seller account balance on the 15th of the month is $35, then you should expect a $35 deposit to your personal checking account in approximately 7 business days. Direct deposit is being offered free of charge to all Sellers!
In an effort to protect our Members from fraud, Half.com may impose limits on a seller's maximum monthly sales. These limits may change from time to time. In the event that this happens, you will be notified and asked to provide additional information.
As outlined in our User Agreement, Half.com reserves the right to make adjustments to your seller account balance in the event of a member dispute (including charging a seller return shipping in the amount the buyer originally paid), fraud or a lack in seller performance. If insufficient funds exist in the seller account balance, Half.com will deduct funds from your checking account. By agreeing to our User Agreement and its incorporated policies, you agree to allow Half.com to make these adjustments or deductions.
Any seller who is suspended from Half.com or eBay, or voluntarily terminates their seller's account, will have their seller payments held for a minimum of 90 days to allow for settlement of outstanding contested orders.
Once 90 days have passed from the date of the account's suspension or termination, the seller should contact Half.com customer support to request reconciliation. This is not, however, a guarantee of payment. Payments may be held indefinitely in cases of fraud as outlined in the section above titled Seller Account Balance Adjustments.
Any seller who receives a temporary suspension from Half.com will be placed in no payment status and may not receive their seller payment until after their account has been reinstated at Half.com.
