 Best Ways to use Our Help Desk


We want your time buying and selling on our site to be as simple and easy as possible. We know you will have questions from time to time and we want to provide you with a quick overview of our Help Desk area. We are customers just like you and we know one thing, when you come to the help desk, you want help-fast! We've developed our help areas so that you can get the information you are looking for quickly without a lot of hassle or fluff.

Our site is set up so that you can get the information you need in several ways. First and foremost is our general Help Desk page. We also offer you a Help Wizard where you can walk through some simple questions to help you find what you need. You will also find commonly asked questions on several key pages on our site. Lastly, you have the option to contact us directly via email.

How to Find Your Answer Fast

We know you want answers fast and the quickest way to find an answer to your question is to look for it on the site. Our goal is to provide you with a format that allows you to find your answer quickly with as little effort as possible.

  • Our Help Desk is arranged in four sections: Membership, Buying, Selling, and Policies. You will find information under each of those categories that act as a reference as you use our site.

  • The Help Desk Wizard assists you in finding the information you need through a few quick steps. Our Help Desk Wizard contains more specific information. If you can't find the information you need through our Wizard you will be given the option of writing to us.

New to Our Site?

If you are brand new to the site, we highly recommend you take a minute or two to walk through our "How to Buy and Sell" tutorial located near the top of the Help Desk page. The tutorial will provide you with a quick tour of the essential features of our site.

Have A General Question on How the Site Works?

Your best bet is to use the links located on the Help Desk page. We divided the information into four sections: Membership, Buying, Selling, and Policies. Each section contains topics listed by subject. By clicking on the subject title you will be presented with frequently asked questions for each subject.

The Membership section contains information about becoming a member on Half.com. This is basic information regarding logging in, updating your account information, along with a few other topics.

The Buying section is your reference guide for all things related to buying. We've created sections that walk you through the buying process as well as how to handle any problems with your orders.

The Selling section is your guide to selling. We discuss how to list items, determine quality conditions for the items you are selling, and our sellers' favorite topic: how sellers get paid!

The Policy section has many useful policies for Half.com. You can find links to our User Agreement, privacy and security policy, among others.

At the left of the Help Desk page you will find a link for our Help Desk Wizard. Our Help Desk Wizard will help guide you through our help content to target the information you need. The Wizard will prompt you by asking the nature of your question and then display choices for you to narrow your search for an answer. If the information you need is not available, you will be given an option to contact us directly.
