Selling textbooks on Half.com is quick, easy, and fun! Here are a few helpful tips that will help you sell the right book at a great price.
Never list support materials such as solution manuals, instructor's editions, international editions, and other items that are not the US Student Edition textbook. Listing an item other than the textbook described is a violation of the proper category listing policy. Always use the sell your item page to list a book by its ISBN. That will guarantee you are listing the book in the correct place. The sell your item page can be found here. Be sure to indicate if you will ship "Expedited Mail" so that buyers can choose this option to get their books fast. Please keep in mind that students usually place their orders close to the start of classes so it is very important to ship the order within 72 hours per our policy. In order to comply with our shipping policies all orders must be shipped from a US origin. List your textbooks at a competitive price. If you have a brand new textbook in a popular course, you can often sell it on Half.com for a few dollars less than the list price! Of course, if many other members have listed the same book, you'll probably want to set your asking price at or near the lowest price offered. You can sell textbooks any time of the year, but make sure to have all your books listed during August, September, January, and February. These are the months when textbooks sell fastest and at the highest prices.
