There are several ways to find an item at Half.com. The search bar on our home page lets you search for an item from our entire inventory. Click a category tab (Books, Music, Movies, Games, or Game Systems), then do a more specific search by Title, Actor, Director, UPC, ISBN or Author. If you're in a browsing mood, you can click through our product categories to see what catches your fancy! Either way, finding your item is fast and easy!

Can I ask the seller a question about the item before buying?

Yes, just follow the steps below:

  1. From the Product Information page, click on the Feedback number (between parentheses) under the Seller's User ID. This will take you to the Seller's Feedback page.

  2. Click the "Contact Member" link that is located on the right hand side of the page.

  3. Type your question in the box provided.

  4. Click the "Send" button.

You will be notified by email from the seller's email address.

Note: It is optional for sellers to respond to pre-purchase questions.

I want to change shipping options on an order I have already placed.

Prior to purchasing an item, you can check the shipping methods supported by the seller. Simply click the seller's User ID, and the seller information page will be displayed. This page will display the shipping methods the seller supports.

If you believe the seller has not yet shipped your item, you may attempt to contact them by following the instructions below. Please understand, however, that they are not required to comply with your request to change the shipping method:

  1. Click the My Account link near the top right of the page. You may be asked to sign in.

  2. Click the Purchases link. Your most recent purchases will be listed on this page.

    • If the purchase in question is not on this page, you can choose a past view from the drop down menu to the right next to "Period:" Then click "Go".

    • If the purchase in question is not on this page and you have the transaction number, enter it in the "Search Transaction" box and click the "Search button."

    • If the purchase in question is not on this page and you do not have the transaction number, you can locate the purchase by the Seller ID and clicking the "Search button."

  3. Once you've located the purchase, click the corresponding "Contact Seller" link on the right side of the screen. We strongly recommend that you send a copy of this email to your self. "Send me a copy of this email." button will be checked by default.

What if no one is selling the items that I want at Half.com?

If the item is not in our inventory, you have two fantastic options!

First, you can add it to your Wish List. The Wish List allows you to specify the price and quality rating for the item you are looking for. We will send you an email as soon as the item becomes available. You can add an item to your Wish List by using the Wish List link at the top of every item detail page. What is a Favorite Seller List and how do I use it?

In order to make it easier for you to save on shipping costs and find items from sellers who you have had good experiences with, we have created a "Favorite Sellers" list. This list, which is stored in your account area, allows you to keep track of the sellers you prefer to use.

There are a few ways you can add a seller to your list:

  1. When you are looking at any seller's shop page, there is a link in the left column to add them to your list. To get to a sellers shop page, simply click on the seller's name anywhere on the site.

  2. Go to the "Purchases" section in your account and find purchases you made where you were pleased with the seller. When you find a purchase from a good seller, you can select the Add to my Favorites link.

  3. Go to any seller's item listing page and there is a link at the top for you to add them to your list.

  4. Finally, you can search for a seller by name from the Shops page and add them to your favorites from the results page.

Remember, buying from sellers who have given you great service is an excellent way to reward them for their hard work!

Once I've found an item, how do I buy it?

Once you find your item, click on it to get specific seller, pricing, and quality information. When you're ready to buy, click the 'Buy' button next to the specific item you want to put it in your shopping cart!

How can I find items for sale by my favorite seller (the Seller's Shop)?

You can get to a seller's shop by clicking on a seller's name anywhere on the site, or by accessing a seller from your "Favorite Seller" list on the "My Account" page.

Additionally, if you know the seller name of the shop you are trying to get to, you can go directly there by using the following URL:

http://shops.half.ebay.com/sellername

Once you visit your favorite seller's shop you may also search his/her inventory by putting the item you wish to search for in the search box in the upper left hand corner of their shop.

Do I have to use a credit card?

To pay for your purchase, you can use either a valid credit card or PayPal. Half.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover® Network.

Can I pay through PayPal?

Yes, you can pay for your purchases through PayPal. During checkout, you'll be given the option to pay with PayPal, or pay with a credit card. If you choose to pay with PayPal, you'll see a PayPal login screen. After you log in, you'll confirm your purchase by clicking the "Place my order" button.

How do I know when my purchase has been shipped?
